Knitted from Ahipao’s signature Nimbus blend—65% merino wool, 25% possum down, and 10% mulberry silk—it offers a whisper-soft touch with natural warmth, breathability, and beautiful drape.

Whether worn over a dress for effortless refinement or layered with denim for a casual twist, this piece moves with you, adding gentle structure without bulk. The asymmetrical cut flatters all silhouettes, making it an easy, one-size style for any occasion.

Lovingly crafted on Waiheke Island, this poncho embodies the understated elegance of Ahipao’s heritage—infused with nature, made with care, and destined to be worn again and again.

 

Delivery is between 2 and 5 days. Rural delivery may take a little longer.

We use NZ Couriers for larger orders over $50 and NZ post courier service for smaller orders.

Waiheke Islanders can arrange a local pickup at checkout and collect from us at 10 Ocean View Road.

Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.

For international orders please allow between 5 and 10 working days for delivery once it has been dispatched.

We use DHL Express for all outgoing international orders - if you have a preferred courier please get in touch.

To ensure our knitwear is as luxurious as possible, we only use natural fibres and concentrate mainly on pure cashmere.

We also specialise in unique New Zealand possum blends; Nimbus - our possum, merino and silk or Cirrus - our cashmere, possum silk blend.
